Samara - the story so far ...
The dancers in Samara had worked together informally in 1999, but made the decision to create a more formal troupe in mid 2000. All the dancers are from the local area around Calderdale, Keighley and Skipton. Since forming Samara the troupe have performed at a number of locations and a variety of events.
